I just encoded my thoughts into abstract atomic units of information and through little movements in my fingers caused alterations in electro-magnetic fields in what used to be sand. Sand that can now perform billions of predefined logical operations – which we made up – per second on these abstract units by having an effect on the electro-magnetic field that somehow holds this information and somehow transforms it in well-defined, logical ways.
You just did the same and caused a ripple effect of such alterations in electro-magnetic fields that somehow make the same units of information appear in alterations in the electro-magnetic field on an arbitrarily distant point on the planet in near light speed, almost instantaneously. And these alterations form the same atomic units as they did in your hands, which form multiple layers of well defined protocols which made the information appear in the exact piece of used-to-be-sand of which you might not even know where it is and which holds the information about what information you sought and how to get it to you. Then the same thing happened in reverse and the words that I formed in my mind traveled through space and time to a place and time I could not foresee, again passing through used-to-be-sand in the form of alterations in the electro-magnetic field somehow forming and traversing logical operations until they form words again in front of you, just for you to read.
